SEAProTI ร่วมประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการการไกล่เกลี่ยฯ กับกรมคุ้มครองสิทธิ

18 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567, กรุงเทพมหานคร - คุณวณิชชา สุมานัส นายกสมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ พร้อมด้วย ท่านบรรเจิด จันทร์รุ่งศรี อุปนายกสมาคมวิชาชีพนักแปลและล่ามแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ และ ว่าที่ ร้อยตรี วิชญาธร รังสิธารณ์ ที่ปรึกษาและสมาชิกิตติมศักดิ์ ของสมาคม ร่วมประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการเพื่อขับเคลื่อนการไกล่เกลี่ยข้อพิพาทภาคประชาชนในพื้นที่กรุงเทพมหานคร ประจำปี พ.ศ.2567 ในวันพฤหัสบดี ที่ 22 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 เวลา 08.00 - 16.30 น. ณ โรงแรม เบสเวสเทิร์น พลัส แวนด้า แกรนด์ ถนนแจ้งวัฒนะ อำเภอปากเกร็ด จังหวัดนนทบุรี

ในการนี้ ทางสมาคมฯ ได้มีโอกาสพูดคุยกับ ท่านเอมอร เสียงใหญ่ อธิบดีกรมคุ้มครองสิทธิและเสรีภาพ กระทรวงยุติธรรม เรื่องความร่วมมือในการจัดอบรมล่ามในงานไกล่เกลี่ยข้อพิพาท ที่มีคู่กรณีเป็นชาวต่างชาติ และการจัดตั้ง สมาคมวิชาชีพผู้ระงับข้อพิพาททางเลือกสากล ซึ่งจะเน้นไกล่เกลี่ยและประนอมข้อพิพาท และงานอนุญาโตตุลาการ โดยเฉพาะคดีที่มีคู่กรณีเป็นชาวต่างชาติ รวมถึงล่ามในงานคุ้มครองพยานและ ผู้เสียหายในคดีอาญาที่มีต่างด้าวเป็นผู้เสียหาย อันเป็นอีกทางเลือกหนึ่งของสถานีตำรวจต่าง ๆ และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องที่ทำความตกลง (MOU) ร่วมกันกับสมาคมด้วย โดยผู้ที่ผ่านการอบรมเพื่อขึ้นทะเบียนกับสมาคมจะสามารถทำเรื่องเบิกค่าตอบแทนตามระเบียบสมาคมสูงสุดถึง 4,500 - 6,000 บาทต่อวัน

SEAProTI attended the Mediation Workshop with the RLPD

February 18, 2024, Bangkok - Khun Wanitcha Sumanat, president of the Southeast Asian Professional Translators and Interpreters Association (SEAProTI), along with Honourable Bancherd Chanrungsri, vice president of the Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters of Southeast Asia (SEAProTI) and Acting Second Lieutenant Wichayatorn Rangsitharn, advisor and honorary member of SEAProTI, attended the annual workshop to empower the mediation of civil disputes in Bangkok and build the connection among the mediators.

The session was held from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Best Western Plus Vanda Grand Hotel on Chaengwattana Road in Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province.

In this regard, SEAProTI has discussed with Honourable Em-orn Siangyai, the director-general of the Department of Rights and Liberties Protection (RLPD) under the Ministry of Justice regarding cooperation in organizing an interpreter training for mediation works where the parties in the disputes are foreigners, as well as discussing the establishment of the Association of Professionals in International Alternative Dispute Resolution, which will focus on mediation and conciliation of disputes and arbitrations, especially in cases where the parties in the disputes are foreigners.

Training programs for interpreters to safeguard witnesses and victims in criminal cases involving international victims were also explored. The trained interpreters will be another alternative for providing services to police stations and similar organizations that have signed an agreement (MOU) with the association. The interpreters who will be trained will be qualified and added to the organization's roster, will have an official license to undertake translating on the association's behalf, and will be paid up to 4,500 - 6,000 baht per day, according to association standards.
